Answers To All Of Your Most Common Queries
Welcome to the Ecu-2-You Help Center, here to answer any questions you may have regarding our company and our products. Check out some of our clients’ most frequently asked questions and the answers we regularly provide. For more personalized service, please get in touch with us directly and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you.

Will your part fit my car?
We will need you to provide your VIN number for your vehicle for us to check compatibility in the parts catalogues. We have access to the full parts catalogues for nearly all vehicle manufacturers.
You can find your VIN number either in the bottom right of your front windscreen, or on your V5 owners document. It is a 17 character number. Every character counts on these, just one wrong and we won't be able to find your vehicle so please try to be accurate.

How quickly can you get my item to me?
For UK orders we use a tracked next day delivery service. If you order before 1pm you should receive your item the next working day.

Do you post abroad?
We are happy to serve international customers. We use the eBay Global Shipping Program. If you have found our item on eBay, and the site is quoting you a price for international postage then we post to your address. If there is no price given then it means the service doesn't cover your territory and we won't be able to get the item to you - we don't post items outside of eBay, sorry.

What does the guarantee cover?
All of our parts come with a 3 year guarantee. This is 3 years from the date of purchase with no limitation on mileage. If, during the 3 year period, the unit fails we will either refund or replace the unit at no cost to yourself. All we ask is that you keep hold of your receipt and send the failed unit back to us so we can look at the issue.
Please note that if on inspection we find the unit to have water damage we will suggest strongly that you fix the issue that is allowing the water to get to the unit, or the problem will just recur.

Will the unit need coding to my vehicle?
Perhaps unhelpfully, the answer is 'it depends'. Very often, if the spec of the car the part was taken from matches the spec of the car the part is going on, it will be plug and play. This is more common than you might think, so to leave that chance open we never wipe the software on the units. Best guess, we'd say 75% of the time they're plug and play, across the range.
If you're unlucky you can either use a local, qualified car electrician, or if you'd rather not you can send the unit back to us at no cost to yourself, for a full refund.

What if the unit doesn't fix my issue?
Fixing cars is often a process of elimination. If the ecu is one of the possible culprits you are welcome to buy and try one of our units, and if it doesn't work, return to us, freepost, for a full refund. We're just happy to have helped.
